Laurie Reeder, PMHNP-BC, RXN

Laurie is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority.

  • Master's of Science in psychiatric mental health nursing, University of Colorado, Denver, CO. 2004. 
  • Bachelor's of Science in nursing, Mount Mercy College, Cedar Rapids, IA. 1982. 
  • Over 30 years of experience including psychiatric inpatient care, school-based/day treatment, residential, and outpatient settings. 
  • As an experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner Laurie has worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults prescribing medication and providing therapy services.  
  • Laurie provides traditional, evidence-based psychiatric services as well as holistic and complementary approaches. 
  • Trained in integrative psychiatry. Laurie's value is to de-stigmatize mental illness and honor a person's strengths. 
  • Specializes in children, adolescents, and families. 
  • Specializes in Autism Spectrum Disorders.

K.C. Cullen, PMHNP-BC, RXN

K.C. is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority.

  • Graduated as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Colorado Medical Campus in 2012. 
  • K.C. has been supporting people to find wellness for over 10 years. 
  • She has worked with kids, teens and young adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. 
  • She address all areas of wellness using a variety of treatment options including traditional medications, supplements, behavioral modification, referrals to outside providers and diet/exercise training. 
  • She believes in maintaining a strong relationship with her clients, their families and outside providers to address all areas of wellness and determine if medication is a reasonable option. 
  • K.C.'s passion is seeing her clients live a full life and sharing that journey.  
  • Specializes in children, adolescents, and families.

Deb Collins, PMHNP-BC, RXN

* ARIZONA LOCATION ONLY*

  • Post Masters Certificate as a PMHNP in 2009 and became ANCC Board Certified in 2010. 
  • Master's of Science in Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, in 1998 at UCHSC.  
  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing in 1985 at Loretto Heights College in Denver.  
  • Over 30 years experience. 
  • She has worked in inpatient hospital, school-based, corrections, and outpatient treatment settings prescribing medication and providing therapy services.   
  • Deb approaches each patient from a holistic view seeking out their strengths as well as areas for growth and change, to overcome life's challenges and to discover a place of  balance and inner peace.  
  • As an experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner, she specializes in medication management and therapy with children, adolescents, adults and families.

Katie Glist, MA, LPC

  Katie is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Colorado and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). 

  • Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at the University of Denver, 2007
  • Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hope College, Holland, Michigan, 2005
  • Has 20 years of experience working with children, teens, young adults, and families
  • Worked in community mental health, primary care, and hospital settings 
  •  Co-created one of the first coordinated specialty care teams in Colorado for first-episode psychosis
  • Has experience working with clients who are going through substance use issues, mood disorders, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, trauma, anxiety, ADHD, and relationship issues
  • Encourages inviting family members, friends, and partners into treatment as desired to support client growth and sustain positive changes

  

I love getting to know clients because every person’s mental health journey is unique. In addition to CBT, DBT, and MI, I have utilized many non-traditional therapies, as much of my career has been spent doing community based, in-home treatment. With the right support, I have seen clients overcome unimaginable challenges. “This too shall pass. It may pass like a kidney stone, but it will pass.”

Deb (Deborah) Mastin, LCSW

Deb is a Board Certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  

  • Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Denver, 1991. 
  • Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology at the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1986. 
  • Over 25 years of experience working in inpatient/hospital, residential treatment center, day treatment and school settings. 
  • She has worked with families, children and teenagers. The many years Deb has spent working in the school setting has allowed her to develop expertise in helping students and their family's navigate and succeed in school settings. She has been an advocate/voice for adolescents and their families who have mental health/behavioral issues.   
  • Her approach is compassionate, direct, straightforward, and family oriented.

Maki Sonoda-Sutton, MA, LPC

Maki is a Licensed Professional Counselor.  

  • Master's of Arts in Counseling Psychology at the University of Denver, 2007. 
  • Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2004. 
  • Has 10 years of experience working with adolescents and families in school-based/day treatment and outpatient treatment settings. This includes 10 years of collaboration and working with schools, special education departments, human services, and probation, to best meet the needs of clients. 
  • Maki has experience using a variety of modalities including DBT, CBT and ACT to help with mood-regulation, coping, distress tolerance, and individual and family communication.
