Insurance-based care often limits the amount of time a provider can spend with each patient. By not accepting insurance, we’re able to offer longer, more personalized appointments focused entirely on your needs—without rushing or cutting corners.
When insurance is billed, your mental health diagnosis and treatment details may become part of your permanent medical record. By paying privately, your care remains confidential and under your control.
Insurance companies may dictate which treatments are covered, how often you can be seen, or even which diagnoses qualify for care. Working outside of insurance allows us to design a treatment plan that’s based solely on what’s best for you—not what’s approved by an insurance policy.
Without the administrative overhead of insurance paperwork and delays, we can offer more flexible scheduling and focus on direct communication and support.
If you have a PPO or other plan with out-of-network benefits, we’re happy to provide you with a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We encourage you to contact your insurance provider to learn more about your out-of-network mental health coverage.
